An Invitation from Honourary Chair,
Mayor Bob Chiarelli

You are invited to join the 'Round the World Challenge which focuses public attention on the power of medical research and technology to give freedom and independence to people with spinal cord injuries.

Join Us:

Join with your business colleagues and friends at the 'Round the World Challenge Cocktail Reception. At 5:30 p.m. on October 25th at The Ottawa Marriott Hotel, we will raise funds for spinal cord research and rehabilitation. Meet Mike Nemesvary, former World Cup freestyle skier, who is making his triumphant return to Ottawa and becoming the first quadriplegic to drive around the world unassisted. Tickets are $100.00 / person. A charitable receipt for eligible costs will be issued.

Your Contribution:

In neuroscience and spinal cord research, what was unthinkable less than a decade ago is highly thinkable today. Your cocktail reception contribution will further the work of spinal cord injury research.

Mike's journey will come to a symbolic end on October 23rd on Parliament Hill, about seven months after leaving on his 'Round the World Challenge. As a City, we should come together to celebrate a native son's achievement of something truly remarkable.
