Why a Virtual Challenge?

The global COVID-19 pandemic has placed an added burden both on people with disabilities as well as the organizations that are determined to help. Our 2021 virtual challenge will raise funds and awareness to help safeguard equality and independence for people with disabilities, especially those with spinal cord injuries.

Through the support of people like you, we will continue the journey to make the world more accessible, inclusive and dignified for people with disabilities.

How It Works

Mike Nemesvary and a group of dedicated individuals produced a documentary of Mike’s global challenge in 2001 utilizing an unprecedented resource of film footage, photos and travel logs to chronicle the epic journey.

The physical, economical, social and psychological impact of disabilities is shared by the affected individuals, their families, friends, communities and society at large. The virtual ‘Round The World Challenge will continue to raise global awareness for the 1.3 billion people with disabilities.
